The grogginess and spaced out feeling with ic meds

Apart from the chronic pain associated with IC I have found that there are tremendous side effects with amytryptyline, hydroxyzine and pregbalin which are some of the commonly prescribed IC medicines. Some IC patients experience severe symptoms of long term drowsiness, a completely spaced out and knocked out feeling.Carrying out tasks and retaining and grasping information is difficult if you’re one of the patients experiencing these side effects. Unlike others who can have coffee to stimulate themselves most IC patients can’t have coffee. The way out of this situation is to get well enough to drastically reduce the dosage of these meds.
